Easy eXtended Gallery is a mambot script for Joomla! 1.0.x that displays picture galleries on content item. It is intended to provide a very simple way to set up online photo albums: just put your pictures in a directory, call it in your article and enjoy !... That is what it's all about !

It is massively configurable though, and you can tune the layout just as much as you want to match your exact template's design : there is some textarea in the administration mambot where you can define your own css style. Several cool features are also included, while keeping in mind that the program aims to be as simple as possible. Thumbnail are automaticaly generated and cached on the server to reduce the server charge.

EXG generates compliant code and makes extensive use of CSS stylesheets to render galleries. It only requires PHP version 4 or higher and the GD2 image manipulation librarie.

EXG is free for use (distributed under the GPL license), very easy to set up and manage... It makes you just a few clicks away from getting your photo album on the web. [Pop up used AJAX scripts lightbox, slimbox, thickbox, smoothbox or greybox (user choice in the administration pannel)]

User can generate reflexion under pictures and crop or resize the
original picture.

Ce plugin permet d'afficher une galerie dans un article, en générant automatiquement les miniatures. Ces miniatures sont mises en cache pour limiter les ressources du serveur. Les fonctions Popup utilisent les scripts AJAX Lightbox, Slimbox, Thickbox ou Greybox, au choix du webmaster. Une réflexion sous les miniatures, une découpe ou un redimensionnement de l'image original sont également en option.

A little bit JavaScript, and a little bit CSS, Link Thumbnail shows users that are about to leave your site exactly where they're going. When that mouse pointer hovers over a link pointing to somewhere outside of your site, the script displays a small image of the destination page. It's a nice visual cue that serves a very real purpose: providing a clearer picture (no pun intended) of what's ahead. Based on a javascript from arc90 lab website. Thumbs are provides by websnapr.com, thumbnails.alexa.com and msnsearch.srv.girafa.com

If you have problems with "thumbnail in queue" or "forbidden" text, try to use the MSN version. MSN replace Websnapr to generate the thumbnail of the website.

Linkthumb est un plugin réalisé d'après le code de Lab.arc90.com  qui permet d'avoir un effet comme le module "snap" , c'est à dire l'affichage d'images miniatures représentant des captures d'écran sur les liens de vos articles mais à la différence que vous pouvez cibler ces liens. Ainsi ce plugin évite la pollution d'images dans les menus ou dans les autres liens non sollicités.
